Summer learning journey
I did this for my summer learning journey. We had to write a math question, answer and how I worked my question out. What is your favorite math question? Please comment and tell me if there is something wrong.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant math problem. Converting Roman Numerals to the decimal point system is a valuable skill, one which you definitely possess. You have done an amazing job formulating a question as well as showing all of your working to calculate it.
I did notice that in your solution work out, you said X=5 but doesn’t it equal 10? Your answer is correct if X=1 though.
I would really appreciate it if you changed your titles so they were a bit different. Titles are a great way to draw in readers, so be as imaginative as you’d like. Perhaps, for example, you could call this one “Roman Numerals”.
